How do I set up my appliance with the Kenwood World app?

Before connecting your appliance to the Wi-Fi network, check the following:
  • Make sure your Wi-Fi router is switched on and connected to the internet.
  • Have your appliance plugged in and the On/Off switch in the On position.
  • Have your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and Wi-Fi network password ready (remember, passwords are case sensitive).
  • Make sure your smart device’s location settings are turned on (for Android only).
  1. Open the app.
  2. Tap the “Kitchen” icon.
  3. T Select “Add an Appliance” – If you already have an appliance selected then Tap ‘ + ’ in the top right-hand corner to add an Appliance.
  4. Scroll, choose your appliance and select button .
  5. Follow the instructions shown.
  1. On the Cooking Chef Display tap \'settings\' to open the setting menu.
  2. Select ‘Wi-Fi’ from the drop-down menu.
  3. Ensure ‘Wi-Fi’ is selected as ‘On’.
  4. Tap ‘Connect…..’
  5. Select the ‘tick’ displayed in the right-hand corner.
11. Select the \'YES\' on your phone/ tablet
12. Open your phone/ tablets Wi-Fi setting -You will be asked to select a name similar to KENWOOD123456
“Once selected, your smart device may display “No Internet Connection” next to the network name, this is normal”.
13. Once connected tap ‘continue’ on the phone /tablet
Note:
  • The video instruction on the App is only shown in English as this is a Global setting.
  • If you don’t see a name similar to KENWOOD123456 on the display screen, wait 10 seconds and try again.
  • If the set-up process fails or cannot connect, ensure you have checked the “before connecting” points above.
  • If display stops showing KENWOOD123456 (or similar) before you connect to the KENWOOD123456 network, you may need to restart the process.
