Your safety is a key priority here at Kenwood so when we are designing your new machine we include many clever elements to help keep you safe when in use. Features on this model include: The motor will only run when the head is properly locked down, preventing accidental activation. The wamring function will only operate when the 7L warming bowl is fitted. If you remove the bowl and leave the appliance powered up a fan will run to cool the warming plate quickly, reducing the amount of time a part of the appliance is hot. The controlling software has been designed so that you cannot unintentionally press the dial to start. When in stir mode the appliance beeps before starting a stir cycle to alert you to move your hands clear. There are other features too - please refer to the Instruction Manual for more information.
