Garlic and Chilli Tiger Prawns

Ideal for a summery starter, these prawns are cooked in a spicy, aromatic combination of chilli, garlic, and white wine. Serve with crusty bread and a fresh green salad.

Ingredients

Servings: 4
Makes:

1 Tbsp unsalted butter
1 Tbsp olive oil
3  garlic cloves, finely chopped
25 g red chilli, finely chopped
500 g tiger prawns, shell on
80 g white wine

To serve
1  lemon, halved
1 Tbsp fresh parsley, leaves only, finely chopped


Instructions

STEP 1/1

Fit the Stir Tool.
Add butter and oil into the appliance bowl.
Heat for 1 minute at 120ºC, on speed Stir 2, until melted.
Add garlic and chilli, fit the splashguard.
Cook for 3 minutes at 110ºC, on speed Stir 2, until fragrant.
Add prawns.
Cook for 2 minutes at 110ºC, on speed Stir 2, until the prawns turn pink.
Add wine.
Cook for 5 minutes at 102ºC, speed Off, until reduced.

 

To serve
Squeeze over lemon and top with chopped parsley.


Try to buy prawns that are as fresh as possible to ensure the best flavour.
